Mark your calendars and check back to our website on this date for updates. Depending upon how our baby plants are growing, this is typically when we announce the upcoming dates for our CSA membership and big Spring Plant Sale and start taking pre-orders.

Whether your involvement as a CSA member or volunteer has been more recent or in the past, come join us for some camaraderie with your fellow veggie lovers. We’ve asked our valued restaurant partner, From the Earth Brewery, to provide the food and of course we’ll have beverages as well. Please RSVP below for this fun event!

If you’ve ever been interested in joining a CSA but wonder if it’s right for you, come join us for an informational session. A general description can be found on our website CSA Membership, but this will be an opportunity for you to ask your pressing questions, meet our farmer and learn more.

We really couldn’t make this farm run without the dedicated help and big hearts of the volunteers. We currently have regular volunteer hours on Saturday and Tuesday mornings and are always happy to have new people at those times and/or find other ways to plug in that suit your gifts and schedule. Come join us for a tour of the farm and an overview of what we do to explore how you can be part of our fun and dedicated community!

Many hands make light work and Spring comes very early at the farm. There’s so much to do to get ready and we’d love your help! Some projects we might be undertaking are prepping planting beds, seeding, cleaning up the property, getting ready for the plant sale and maybe even some small handyman or woodworking projects. We’ll be happy to feed you breakfast and/or lunch. Feel free to come for as short a long a time as you can, but will you please let us know you’re coming so we can generally make sure we have the right amount of food for us all? Look forward to seeing you then!

Farm Tour Description

Every 1st Saturday of the month following our normal market hours our Farmer, Maxwell, will give a 45 minute tour of the garden as well as the greenhouse and compost area. While walking Max will give you a description of what you see in front of you, provide theories and rules for why things are done a certain way, as well as go into the science and culture surrounding said rules and theories.

Please join us at Martin’s Garden at Coleman Farms for our First Annual Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt. Profits will go to Atlanta Community Food Bank.

We’ll have an Easter Egg Hunt, live music, crafts, games with prizes and a bounce house! You and your family may also enjoy an animated story performance by professional storyteller, Josie Bailey.

Our Farm Manager, Maxwell, will give those interested a garden tour and, finally, we will also have a photographer who will provide you with one free family photo. Of course you’re also welcome to take some of your own pictures with our goats, sheep and chickens!

Lunch will be available for pre-purchase. The Farm Stand will also be open with a few fresh, organic veggies and eggs for sale.
