why we’re here

Roswell residents, Tony & Shari Martin purchased the 7 acres of Martin’s Garden at Coleman Farms in 2015 with the goal of creating a special place to encourage healthy living for their family and the community and to support charitable organizations.  Over the last seven years, with the help of their farmer, and a great community of volunteers they have transformed the property to include a bountiful one-acre garden that sold fresh vegetables to the local community and donated produce to local charities.  Of course, it wouldn’t be a farm if we didn’t also add a small menagerie of goats, sheep and chickens to the landscape.   We love having children visit our furry and feathered friends when parents come by to pick up their veggies.

As of Fall 2023, Martin’s Garden has been in search of a new farm manager with the passion and vision to take us to the next phase. The good news is that we are blessed to have a wonderful partnership with our long-time friends at Love is Love Cooperative Farm that can provide the very highest quality vegetables so that we can offer our community CSA membership shares to obtain consistent produce during the growing seasons.

In addition, Martin’s Garden constinues to o use the property to host a limited number of charity events.    We wanted to have a special place that encourages people to connect to their neighbors, the earth as source of their food and to those in need.  Thanks so much for being interested in our mission, vision and veggies!
